Tennis Match

A tennis match is a competitive sporting event in which players (either individually or in teams) use rackets to hit a tennis ball over a net and into the opponent’s court, following specific rules. Matches can be played in various formats, including singles (one player against another) or doubles (two players on each side). The objective is to score points by making the ball land within the opponent’s designated court area, ideally in a way that they cannot return it successfully. The match is typically divided into sets, with players needing to win a predetermined number of sets to win the match. Scoring follows a unique system: points are counted as 15, 30, 40, and then game, and players must win by at least two clear points when the score reaches deuce. Tennis matches can take place on different types of surfaces, such as grass, clay, or hard courts, which can influence gameplay and strategy.
